Zen Brief
One card for the job.
$7.99 · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
The idea, the references, what you agree on. Keep the job in one clear brief, then share a beautifully set PDF. Less setup. More understanding.
A clear beginning. A better job.
Zen Brief brings the essentials of a creative job into one considered place: the client, the idea, references, a date and what you agree on. A cream page, quiet type and space to think. Enough structure to start, without a system to maintain.
THE JOB, AT A GLANCE
Write the client and the central idea. Add up to six links or images as references. Set a date when the job needs one. Keep the agreement in its own optional space, in your own words.
DECISIONS THAT TRAVEL
Export PDF turns the content you have filled in into a finished job card. One editorial template handles the layout, type and pagination. Send the exported file in an email or team conversation. A separate animated HTML export brings the illustrated details along for a browser.
A CALMER WAY TO KEEP TRACK
Edits save locally on this device, with a previous saved copy for recovery. Archive finished briefs to clear the sidebar, then restore them when you need them. On Mac, the paper cards flow under the pointer and scroll near the edges; sentence focus keeps attention on the idea you are writing.
SMALL DETAILS, THOUGHT THROUGH
Original Zen illustrations, serif typography and room to breathe. On Mac, illustrated details pause while you write. Reduce Motion keeps them still.
