Ank and Hasta Rekha were in the app and almost impossible to find. They are the second and third halves of the Kundli tab, and that control only appeared once you had saved a person — so anyone who had not yet entered birth details saw neither. Now: Chart, Ank and Hasta are all on the Kundli tab from the start. Ank asks only for a name and a date of birth. Hasta asks for nothing at all. Only the chart needs the full birth details. Muhūrta no longer disappears when the day's numbers are slow to load, and the You tab now lists every section in the app and where to find it.

Fixes the fault that stopped Ganit from opening. If the app showed an error screen or closed as soon as you launched it, this release corrects it — the panchang, your kundli, muhurta and the rest are all reachable again. Thank you for your patience, and for reporting it.

Add to calendar. A muhurta you have chosen, or a festival, now goes straight into your iPhone's own calendar — the one you and your family already use — with a reminder the day before and an hour before. And under Notifications you can subscribe once to the festival calendar. Every festival, dated for your city rather than for India, appears alongside everything else you keep, and refreshes itself each year.

Fixes a problem that could make the app close straight after opening on some iPhones. If anything does go wrong while the app is starting up, it now shows the error on screen instead of closing silently, so the problem can be found and fixed. The Muhurta screen now reads correctly in Hindi.

Muhūrta — choosing a time, rather than reading one. Every other screen in Ganit tells you what the sky is doing. This one answers the question people actually take to a pandit: when should I do this? Pick what you are starting — moving into a home, a vehicle, opening a shop, signing, setting out, beginning study — and Ganit ranks the next month from your own sunrise, names the hour to begin inside each day that survives, and lists every day it ruled out with the rule that ruled it out. If you disagree with a bar, you can see exactly which one it was. Today's windows now sit on the Pañcāṅga tab: Abhijit, the eight choghaḍiyā, Rāhu Kāla, Gulika Kāla and Yamaganda, all derived from your sunrise rather than looked up in a table. Two refusals, stated on the screen rather than buried. It will not time medical care — no surgery or treatment dates, ever. And it does not pretend to be personal: Tārā Bala and Candra Bala need your birth nakṣatra and are not applied, so this is a general muhūrta. Where two layers of the tradition contradict each other — Rāhu Kāla barring a stretch the choghaḍiyā calls favourable — both are shown. Ganit does not quietly pick a side.

Hindi, throughout. The whole app reads in Hindi now, and a Hindi phone opens in Hindi. There is a language toggle under You. Hasta Rekha. Read your own palm against your chart: the nine mounts carry the nine graha names, so a line reaching a mount points at where that graha actually sits. No camera, no photograph, nothing uploaded. Compare every candidate at once. Milan scores and sorts the whole roster instead of opening one person at a time. Vastu now waits for a true-north fix before it names a direction. Until your compass is corrected for magnetic declination, the screen says so and offers a retry, rather than reporting a sector read off magnetic north. Room readings are saved per city and survive a restart, and there is a confirmed way to clear them and start over. Pull down to refresh the panchang and the month view. When a fetch fails, the screen tells you how old the day it is showing is, instead of presenting yesterday's arithmetic as today. The tradition setting now says plainly that your choice is recorded but not yet applied to the calculations.

New: Ank, the numbers — on the Kundli tab, beside your chart. Mūlāṅka, bhāgyāṅka and nāmāṅka with every step of the arithmetic shown; Chaldean and Pythagorean letter tables side by side; your nāmākṣara from the Moon's nakshatra pada; and where the graha each number names actually sits in your chart. Your name is worked out on the phone and never leaves it.
