Dinner shouldn't live in one person's head. Right now it lives in a notes app, a few screenshots, and a text asking what else we need.
MealBright is one place for the recipes you cook, the week you're planning, and the list you shop from, shared by everyone at home.
EVERY RECIPE YOU'VE SAVED, IN ONE PLACE
MealBright makes it easy to save recipes wherever you find them. Take a photo of a cookbook or a handwritten card. Save from any recipe site with a link. Share a TikTok, Instagram, YouTube or Facebook post straight into the app and it reads the recipe out of it. Or type one in yourself. Sort them into collections, tag them however you think about dinner, and find any recipe in seconds.
PLAN THE WEEK IN MINUTES
Put recipes on the days you'll cook them, as far ahead as you like, or let MealBright propose a plan for you. Copy a week that worked. Roll the meals you didn't get to into next week. Everyone at home sees the same plan, updating as it changes.
A GROCERY LIST THAT MAKES ITSELF
All the ingredients needed to make your meal plan a reality automatically get added to your grocery list for you, sorted by aisle, with the staples you always have already ticked off. Keep a separate list for each store, in your own aisle order. Split up in the shop and things disappear from both phones as you check them off.
SEND IT TO THE STORE
Send your grocery list to Walmart or a Kroger store (Smith's, King Soopers, Fred Meyer, Ralphs, Fry's and more). MealBright finds each item at your store, you check the picks, and you check out there for pickup or delivery.
EVERYONE'S DIET, COVERED
Each person sets their own diet and allergies, including low carb and keto. Recipes that don't suit someone are marked, with simple swaps, and Discover shows the ones that fit.
COOK WITHOUT PINCHING AND SCROLLING
Big steps, the amounts right where you need them, and the screen stays on. Scale the servings and every amount changes with it. Mark it cooked, rate it, and leave a note for next time.
REMEMBER WHAT YOU ACTUALLY COOK
Every week you've planned and every meal you've made is kept. See what you cook most, what you haven't made in a while, and what everyone thought of it.
LET AI DO THE TIDYING UP
Recipes saved from the web arrive messy. AI splits the ingredient lines, fills in missing times and flags what looks wrong, showing you every change before you save it. If a recipe has no photo, it will make one, labeled as AI so nobody mistakes it for a photo of the real dish.

There are so many features, but one of my favorites is being able to take a picture of an old recipe card or printout and have the app instantly add it to my recipes. I have SO many recipes scattered everywhere, and having everything organized in one place right on my phone is a total game changer. And I haven’t even started talking about the meal planning! I hate cooking almost as much, and I hate shopping, and I REALLY hate planning what to cook. MealBright makes the whole process so much easier and takes so much of the mental work out of it. It’s like this awesome digital assistant that handles all the mental heavy lifting. It took me all of a few days on the free trial to realize that this was an app I absolutely needed in my life permanently. It has made meal planning, grocery shopping, and keeping track of my recipes so much less overwhelming. If you have a pile of recipe cards, screenshots, saved recipes, or just hate figuring out “what’s for dinner?” like I do, you NEED this app!

Meals were always a last-minute scramble. I used to look for recipes on YouTube and recipe websites, then write down the URLs in my notepad. Then I had to write a separate grocery list for those recipes, and it took way too much time. Now I just pick from the amazing recipes that are curated right in MealBright, and my grocery list is automatically generated for me. I shop for the whole week from that list, either in one trip to the store or on walmart.com for delivery. I check off each item as I go, so I know I have everything. When the day comes to prepare a meal, I go to that recipe, and all the step-by-step instructions are right there, with no going back and forth to a video or website. The Plus plan has allowed my wife and teenager to be in the same household and add recipes for the week's meals, share in the grocery runs, and know exactly what to buy.
MealBright now supports Spanish.
