Flashroom: Retro Photo Booth

Vintage Film Camera & Strips

Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.

Step into a retro photo booth. Leave with a strip worth keeping. Flashroom brings the atmosphere of a vintage photo booth to your iPhone and iPad. Choose a booth, gather your friends and pose for four photos, with a three-second countdown before each one. Every booth has its own look, cabinet design and shutter sounds. MADE FOR IPHONE DUO Set Duo on a table for a hands-free session. On the partially folded inner display, the viewfinder stays above the hinge and the controls below it. A guest-facing outer-display experience provides a preview, countdown and photo progress. Duo-specific features require iPhone Duo with iOS 27.1 or later. FINISH THE SCENE After shooting, optionally place people against a booth-inspired backdrop or add aged paper. Your original background is selected by default, and originals stay in your library. EIGHT BOOTHS, EIGHT MOODS • Disco ’78 – golden colour with a soft glow • Flash ’96 – bold colour flash • Tokyo ’02 – pastel colour • Paris ’64 – soft silver black & white • Berlin Noir – deep blacks and silver grain • Instant ’98 – faded instant colour • Pop ’67 – four-colour pop art • Brighton ’82 – punchy arcade colour All eight booths and their filters are free. FOUR FLASHES, ONE MEMORY Each session is four photos. Use the front or rear camera, pause whenever you like, and shoot in portrait or landscape. PRINTED YOUR WAY Your session comes out as a classic vertical photo strip or a 2×2 contact sheet, on booth paper, ivory or midnight stock. Tap the print for a closer look: zoom in and turn the paper. MAKE A STRIP. SHARE IT. Export the whole print, a 9:16 Story, a 4:5 portrait, a 1:1 square, a single photo or all four photos separately. Save to Photos or Files, or use the iOS share sheet. KEEP YOUR MEMORIES Every session is saved in a private in-app album. Favourite the best ones, filter by booth and re-export an earlier session in a different layout whenever you like. EVERY BOOTH IS FREE Take unlimited sessions with every booth. Exports carry a small Flashroom signature. An optional monthly or yearly subscription removes the signature, including from re-exports of earlier sessions. No account is required. YOUR PHOTOS STAY YOURS Photos are processed on your device and never uploaded. Basic app-usage and purchase analytics, tied to a random app identifier, help us improve Flashroom; your photos are never included. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the current period ends. Manage or cancel in your Apple Account settings.
