Memotori turns speech into text on macOS. Recording, transcription, and summarization all happen on your Mac. Your audio, transcripts, and summaries are never sent to any server. No account is required, and transcription and summarization work without an internet connection. ■ Features ・Transcribe files Drag and drop audio or video files. Multiple files are processed in order. You can also send files from Finder's "Open With". ・Record meetings In Google Meet, Zoom, or Teams, the other participants' voices come out of your speakers and never reach your microphone. Memotori can record the audio your Mac is playing as well. No virtual audio device such as BlackHole is needed. Choose microphone only, this Mac's audio only, or both. ・Live transcription Transcribes microphone input as you record. When you stop, the whole recording is processed again to produce a more accurate final version. ・Speaker identification Assign speakers to each segment and give them names. Once named, a person is remembered by company, name, and voice characteristics, so their name is filled in automatically next time. The directory is editable as a table. ・Term dictionary Register words that are consistently misheard and they will be corrected automatically. Useful for meetings full of proper nouns and internal terms. ・Summaries Produces an overview, decisions, and to-dos from a transcript. The language model used for summarization is bundled with the app, so there is nothing else to install. You can define your own output formats. ・Export Export to TXT, SRT, VTT, Markdown, or JSON. SRT and VTT can be used as video subtitles. ・Choose your model Models from tiny through large-v3 turbo trade accuracy against speed. Download and delete them from within the app. ・Japanese and English The interface follows your macOS language setting, and summary prompts use the same language. ■ Memotori Pro (one-time in-app purchase) Transcription, summarization, and export are all available without purchasing. Memotori Pro removes only these limits. There is no monthly charge. ・Audio length: 10 minutes per item when free → unlimited ・Term dictionary: 3 entries when free → unlimited ・Speaker directory: 3 people when free → unlimited ・Summary formats: built-in only when free → create, edit, and delete your own ■ Requirements and permissions ・macOS 14 or later (Apple Silicon recommended) ・Transcription models are downloaded from within the app the first time ・Microphone: used for recording ・Screen Recording: required by macOS in order to record the audio your Mac is playing.
