The job-site calculator that remembers your work.
Work Tape is a construction calculator with a difference: every calculation stays on a tape you can read, edit and reuse. Enter measurements the way you say them — 12' 6 1/2" — chain a waste percentage or a price onto any line, and turn the result into a professional PDF quote. All of it offline, on your phone, with no account and no subscription.
FEET, INCHES & FRACTIONS — THE WAY YOU MEASURE
• Type 8' 6 1/2", 10 3/4", 3/16" or 12.5 — mix them freely
• Results in 1/2, 1/4, 1/8, 1/16, 1/32 or 1/64 precision
• Metric too: 3.8 m, 250 mm, m², m³ — even mixed with imperial in one line
• Area, volume, square roots, powers, round-up — with parentheses
A TAPE YOU CAN EDIT
• Every line stays visible with its label and result
• Chain lines like an adding machine: + 10% waste, × $4.50, total
• Tap any line to change a number — everything below recalculates
• Undo, duplicate, reorder, notes on every line
18 QUICK CALCS THAT SHOW THEIR WORK
Flooring & tile boxes, paint gallons, drywall sheets, concrete yards and bags, gravel and mulch, roofing squares and bundles, wall studs, baseboard and trim, board feet, deck boards, fence posts and pickets, baluster spacing, crown-molding miter and bevel, circles and sonotube footings, diagonal/square check, roof pitch with common and hip/valley rafters, stairs with an IRC riser check. Each one writes normal lines onto your tape, so you can see the math and change it.
EVERY RESULT, EVERY WAY YOU NEED IT
Under each length: decimal inches, decimal feet and metres. Under each area: m². No more converting in your head.
