Molo teaches isiXhosa to English and Norwegian speakers with a real voice on every word, the clicks first, and short daily lessons that stick. Every piece of content is approved by an isiXhosa editor before a learner sees it. WHAT MAKES MOLO DIFFERENT • A real voice on every word: no synthetic speech reaches a learner. • The clicks (c, x, q) are drilled as first-class exercises: listen to them and tell them apart. • Grammar forms come from a rule-based generator checked against forms a fluent speaker has signed off, never from a language model. • Nothing is published without a human isiXhosa editor's approval. • Short lessons, spaced review, streaks, weekly leagues, and three mascots: the sunbird, the penguin and the crane. WHY ISIXHOSA About 10 million people in South Africa speak isiXhosa as their home language, the second most spoken home language in the country and one of the three official languages of the Western Cape. It is the language of Nelson Mandela and Desmond Tutu, and of Miriam Makeba's "Click Song". Molo is free to start. Molo Plus adds unlimited hearts and more, as a monthly or yearly subscription that renews until cancelled in your App Store settings.
