Skill Lab Sudoku

The hints here are specially designed. The first simply points you in the right direction ("look at the box in the lower left"), the second explains why ("in this box, there's only one place a 5 can go"), and only the third gives the answer — and even then, your child still enters the number. See it first, then fill it in. That's how the reasoning becomes theirs.
Buy it once, and the whole game is yours. No ads, no in-app purchases, no subscription — one purchase opens every difficulty, the coach, the medals, and the sticker collection. Family Sharing supported.
Every puzzle has exactly one solution, and every one can be worked out step by step — never guessed. A solver that reasons the way a person does checks each puzzle first: if any step would need a lucky guess, your child never sees that puzzle.
From 4×4 to 9×9, six difficulty levels form one learning ladder: the first two welcome kids who are just getting to know numbers, and from Easy to Expert each step asks for one more way of seeing the board. 100 levels per difficulty, plus an endless practice mode.
Play as a family: up to six player profiles on one device, each with its own progress, medals, and sticker book. Clear levels to earn medals (gold, silver, or bronze — gold means solving without ever asking the coach for the answer), and you earn a collectible sticker every ten levels — six themes, sixty real species, each with a bite-sized fact for kids.
For parents: this isn't a score-chasing app. No leaderboards, no timer breathing down your neck, no daily-streak pressure — and no data collected — records live on your device and in your own iCloud; we don't run a server. It practises sorting clues, ruling things out, reasoning one step at a time.
Skill Lab Sudoku is the first thing we've made at Our Skill Lab — a game a mom built for her own kids. It started with a simple idea: to give our kids a clean Sudoku game that genuinely teaches reasoning. We believe in skills that don't expire.

Finishing a puzzle now comes with a short animation and sound, and when a new sticker unlocks you'll see it turn to colour — a little more fun as you play.
There's gentle background music too. If you'd rather have quiet, one tap mutes it — the mute button on the home screen and in-game turns off the sound effects as well.
Two small fixes: the practice play count no longer counts twice, and switching to the Tiny-Starter page now switches the level list below it too, which is what you'd expect.
Enjoy!
