Gold rate today, per gram, tola, 10 grams or ounce, in the karats sold where you live.
Siglos covers the Gulf, Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, the Philippines and the United States. It shows each market’s gold rate in its own currency, refreshed every 10 to 60 minutes on weekdays, and does the arithmetic you would otherwise do on your phone’s calculator while standing in the shop.

Switch market and everything follows: the currency, the karats sold there, the units people buy in, the local tax and the number of decimals. India opens on 10 grams with its prices grouped in lakhs, Pakistan and Bangladesh on tola, the US on the troy ounce. Three-decimal currencies keep three decimals, because rounding the dinar to two is wrong by an amount people notice.
EVERY KARAT SOLD
24K, 22K, 21K, 18K, 14K and 10K, each with its hallmark: 999, 916, 875, 750, 585 and 417. Each market lists the karats its jewellers sell, and they move together with the market.
IN YOUR HOME CURRENCY TOO
Living in Dubai but thinking in rupees? Add up to two more currencies and every rate on Home also shows the same gold in them, priced exactly as that country’s own rates are. Tap + beside the rates, or choose them in Settings.
A CALCULATOR THAT KEEPS UP
Type a weight and every karat reprices as you type. There is no convert button to press, which is the point.
Or go the other way: enter an amount of money and see what it buys in each karat. Add your jeweller’s making charge and your market’s VAT, GST or sales tax, and see the bill split into gold, making and tax.
PRICE ALERTS
Set a level for any karat in any market and get a notification when the price crosses it, even with the app closed. Checked at every price update, and each alert fires once rather than nagging.
HOME-SCREEN WIDGET
Your pinned karat, today’s move and a one-month sparkline on the home screen and Lock Screen, refreshed without opening the app. It always says how old the price is.
PRICE HISTORY
Charts from one day to ten years, in the unit you choose. Drag along the line to read the price on any day, with the change from the start of the range. Markets added recently start with a shorter history, and it grows every day.
ARABIC AND ENGLISH
Fully right to left in Arabic, not a translated layout with the text swapped. Numbers stay in Western digits in both languages, because a price is easier to compare when it is written the same way everywhere.
BUILT TO BE READ
Dark mode. A price card you can share, and a link to share the app itself. A help section explaining where the numbers come from and how the calculation works, so you can check it rather than trust it. And a way to send us feedback, with a screenshot, from inside the app.
YOUR DATA
Signing in is optional. The app works without an account, you will never be asked to create a password, and an account is only needed for price alerts. Anonymous usage statistics help us decide what to build next; turn them off in Settings at any time. No ads, and no tracking.
ABOUT THE PRICES
Siglos shows indicative prices derived from the international spot price and the local exchange rate. They are not retail counter prices.
Jewellers add making charges, and their own margin, on top of the metal. Those vary by shop and by design, so a counter price is always higher than the metal is worth. Use Siglos to know what the gold in a piece is worth, and what a quoted price implies on top of it.
Every screen that shows a price says this too. It is not something we mention once and hope you forget.
