Untraceable AI brings private, on-device intelligence to your hands. The built-in Local AI model is included with the app, so there is no account to create, API key to enter, or model to download before you can start. Open the app and start chatting—even without an internet connection. Your conversations with the built-in model are processed on your device and stored locally in the app. There is no server required for AI conversations. WHAT YOU GET • LOCAL AI — Chat with an AI model that runs directly on your device. No internet connection is required for conversations with the built-in model. Use AI even in Airplane Mode. • DOCUMENTS — Attach PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, HTML, CSV, JSON, YAML, text, or source-code files. Content is extracted locally, and you can see the passages used to answer your question. • PHOTOS — Attach an image from your library or camera. Text and visual content can be analyzed on-device using Apple's Vision framework and discussed with your Local AI model. • OPTIONAL WEB SEARCH — Need current information? Turn on Web Search when you want it. Search the web, news, images, or videos and open results directly in the built-in browser. • PAGE ASSISTANT — While browsing, ask questions about a webpage or have it summarized without leaving the app. • VOICE — Dictate your prompts instead of typing. • YOUR OWN MODELS — Import compatible GGUF models from the Files app and switch between models directly on your device. • TERMINAL EXPERIENCE — A distinctive terminal-inspired interface with a black background, neon-green typography, monospaced styling, multiple accent colours, and a light theme. PRIVACY, BY DESIGN Untraceable AI is built around a simple idea: when AI can run locally, your data doesn't need to leave your device. Here's exactly when a connection is used: • Built-in Local AI — No connection required. Conversations are processed on your device. • Documents & Photos — Processing happens on your device. • Web Search & Browser — Only used when you explicitly enable web features. Your search request is sent to the selected public search service. • Dictation — Uses Apple's speech recognition, which may process audio on Apple's servers. There is no account required. No advertising. No advertising identifiers. No analytics, telemetry, or crash reporting. No location access. Your conversations remain on your device until you choose to delete them. HONEST ABOUT AI Local AI is powerful, but it isn't magic. A model small enough to run directly on a device has limitations. It can be useful for summarizing, rewriting, explaining concepts, brainstorming, drafting, and everyday questions, but it may produce incorrect information, make mistakes with precise calculations, or lack knowledge of recent events. For current information, enable Web Search. For questions about a specific file, attach the document.
