Know what you have and where it is. BIN Inventory keeps track of the tools on your trucks, the parts on your racks and the food in your freezer, and the whole household or team works from the same list.
LOCATIONS INSIDE LOCATIONS
Organize everything the way it really is: Shop > Rack A, Truck 1, House > Garage Freezer. Every location shows what's in it, including what's in the places inside it.
EVERYTHING ABOUT AN ITEM
Quantity and unit, photo, category, SKU and barcode, notes, where you bought it, and the receipt. For equipment: serial number, make and model, purchase price and warranty. For food: expiration dates.
QR LABELS
Print QR labels on a Niimbot Bluetooth label printer or any AirPrint printer. Scan a label with your iPhone camera and the item or location opens right away.
LOW STOCK AND EXPIRING SOON
Set a reorder level and get notified when something runs low or out. Get reminders before food expires. Alerts gathers everything that needs attention.
WHO HAS WHAT, AND WHEN IT WAS LAST SEEN
Every quantity change and move is recorded with who made it. Mark items as seen when you check a shelf, and sort by what hasn't been checked in a while.
LOST, STOLEN OR USED UP
Archive items with a reason and a date instead of deleting them. Choose the wording that fits: Consume for food, Trash, Lost, Stolen.
REPORTS FOR INSURANCE
Export everything as a ZIP (data, a spreadsheet, photos and receipts) or create a PDF report with photos, serial numbers, prices and receipts for an insurance claim or a police report.
SHARE WITH YOUR HOUSEHOLD OR TEAM
Admins add members as admins or viewers. Viewers can browse, search and update quantities; admins manage items, locations and settings.
ALSO ON APPLE WATCH AND THE WEB
Check alerts, find an item and change quantities from your wrist. A web app with the same account works on any computer.
JUST FOR YOU, NO ACCOUNT NEEDED
Tap "Use Without an Account" and everything stays on your iPhone or iPad, backed up with the device. Nothing is sent to us.
For a shared inventory, accounts are by invitation: an admin of your household or team adds you. To start using BIN Inventory for your own household or business, contact us through the Support link.
Ratings & Reviews
- This app hasn’t received enough ratings or reviews to display an overview.
- Fixed: "Choose from Library" did nothing when adding a photo to a location, an item or a receipt.
- Edit Location is now in the "…" menu on a location's own page, so you can change its photo, name and icon from there.
- Custom pictograms (Settings > Pictograms) can now come from a link to an image or a web page, an image copied in Safari, or one dragged onto the screen.
