Set a lifespan and your memos tidy themselves up. New: edit images, trim voice memos, Siri and Shortcuts, and smarter calc blocks. No account, no ads. Fragile is a memo app that tidies itself up. Give every memo a lifespan, and it quietly moves to the Trash when time is up — so the memos you forgot about never pile up. LIFESPAN, NOT CLUTTER • Choose 1 day, 3 days, 1 week, 1 month, or no limit • Expired memos move to the Trash, which empties after 30 days • Get a heads-up an hour before expiry — extend it or delete it right from the notification • Pin the memos you want to keep: they stay at the top and never expire A NEW MEMO FOR EVERY KIND OF THING • Tap "+" to open a text memo right away; press and hold to choose text, bookmark, image, or sound • Text: no Save button — it saves when you leave the screen. Markdown with headings, bold, lists, checkboxes, tables, code blocks and calc blocks, plus undo • Bookmarks: paste a link and the title, description, thumbnail, and favicon are filled in for you • Image memos: take photos or add images from your library or clipboard, and caption each one. View them as a list or a grid • Voice memos: record and turn speech into text on your device. Tap a line to listen from there, and summarize or translate it SAVE FROM ANYWHERE • Send links, text, and images to Fragile from the Share button in Safari and other apps (iPhone and Mac), and pick a lifespan and tags on the way • Press and hold the app icon to start a new memo of any type (iPhone) ORGANIZE WITH TAGS • Read all memos with the same tag together, as one page • Reorder memos on a page, or merge several memos into one • Search naturally, like "hospital memo from last week" WIDGETS (IPHONE) • Pinned Memos: open your pinned memos from the Home Screen • Single Pinned Memo: read one memo across several lines • New Memo: start a text, bookmark, image, or sound memo from the Home Screen or Lock Screen • Pinned & New Memo: one pinned memo plus new-memo buttons in a single widget EXPORT • Copy all memos of a tag as plain text or Markdown, or export them as a PDF PRIVATE BY DESIGN • No account, no ads, no tracking — your memos stay on your device • Speech is turned into text on your device and never leaves it • Optional iCloud sync between iPhone and Mac • Lock the app with Face ID, Touch ID, or your passcode • On devices that support Apple Intelligence, summarize and translate memos on-device Available in 12 languages. What's New in 1.2 • Edit images: crop, rotate in 90° steps and pick an aspect ratio (square, 3:4, 16:9 and more). Save the result as a new image or replace the current one. Works on iPhone and Mac. • Trim voice memos: delete the parts you don't need and the rest joins together. Nothing changes until you tap Apply. • Siri and Shortcuts: add to, append to and search your memos, or read a note, from Siri and the Shortcuts app. Everything runs on your device. • Smarter calc blocks: percentages, exponents (1e7), // comments, variable names with spaces and two-way formulas like c=a+b. Choose how large numbers, digit grouping, decimal places and rounding appear in Settings. • Mac shortcuts: New Text Memo ⇧⌘T, New Bookmark ⇧⌘B, New Image ⇧⌘I, New Sound ⇧⌘A, Trash ⇧⌘D, collapse or expand all in a note ⌥⌘← and ⌥⌘→.
