Short daily sittings that build real math fluency. Kids write their answers by hand. No accounts, no ads, no tracking — and no handwriting ever leaves the device.
Badger is daily math practice for kids — short, focused sittings that build real fluency, from first counting to times tables and beyond.
KIDS WRITE, THEY DON'T JUST TAP Answers are written by hand, right on the screen, and recognized on the device — practicing digits and sums the way school does, not multiple-choice guessing.
A TRAIL OF OVER 150 SKILLS Counting, dice and dominoes, comparisons, addition, subtraction, times tables, division, and more — arranged as a trail that meets each child where they are. A gentle placement finds the right starting point; skills come due for review just when practice would help most; every sitting is a few focused minutes, not a marathon.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN No accounts. No ads. No tracking. No in-app purchases. Your child's handwriting, answers and progress never leave the device — recognition runs entirely on it, and we have no servers to send anything to. (The handwriting component is made by Google and reports anonymous technical diagnostics about itself to Google; our privacy policy says exactly what.)
BUILT FOR FAMILIES Several children can share one device, each with their own trail and progress. A grown-ups' area behind a parent gate shows progress at a glance — medals, minutes practiced, and the facts each child knows — and can share a report as a PDF when you choose to.
IN YOUR LANGUAGE English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, and Amharic.
We're parents building apps for our own children — encouraging the daily math practice that lays foundations for life.

Badger now shows how to answer. The first time a question asks for something new, writing a number, tapping a choice, filling in each blank, or writing a sign such as the equals sign, a short animation shows a hand doing it. A ? on every question plays it again.
New skill: Lowest Terms. Write both the top and the bottom of a fraction in its simplest form, including fractions that are already there.
Shapes now arrive at the right grade: a Four Sides step comes before the parallelogram, rhombus and trapezoid are named.
Shaded Pieces accepts any fraction equal to the shaded amount, so 1/3 counts for 2/6.
Skill cards show their topic.
