iOS plays only the last moment before your key photo, slowed to fill about a second and a half. Unstill speeds that moment up so your lock screen actually moves. Your lock screen can move. Real motion without the twitch. Here's what decides which you get. When iOS plays a Live Photo on the lock screen, it doesn't play your video. It plays a fraction of a second just before the still frame, stretched out in slow motion. Convert a video the ordinary way and that fraction lands on whatever happened to be there: a pause, a held pose, nothing. You get a photo that twitches. Unstill is built around that one fact. It finds the moment your wallpaper will actually play and fits real movement into it, so the wave breaks, the sparkler turns, the face looks up, every time you raise your phone. HOW IT WORKS 1. Pick any video from your library, or send one straight from Photos. 2. Slide the filmstrip to choose the frame it comes to rest on. Pinch to zoom down to single frames. 3. Watch the lock screen preview to see how your moment will move. 4. Tap Create. It saves to your library as a Live Photo, ready to set.
