Your live music diary. Bring years of gigs in from a spreadsheet or setlist.fm, scan a ticket or a festival poster, rate every night out of 10 and see what's top rated.
gigstr is your live music diary. Every gig you've been to and every gig you're going to, in one place.
ADD A GIG IN SECONDS
Scan your ticket — paper or screenshot — and gigstr reads the artist, venue and date for you. Scan a festival's poster and it reads the lineup for you to tick the bands you saw. Or search any artist and pick the night from their tour calendar. Already keep your gigs in your phone's calendar? Add them in one go: gigstr finds the gigs among your events and matches each to the right night. Years of gigs in a spreadsheet or on setlist.fm? Bring them all in, and check the list before anything is added. New here? A quick setup picks your genres, artists and city, so day one isn't empty.
BEFORE THE NIGHT
• Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets count down to your next gig on its ticket stub, and Up next lines up the gigs after it
• A reminder lands before every gig you're going to
• Add a gig to your calendar with who you're going with, the support acts, the venue's address and a tickets link
• Directions to the venue in Apple Maps, Google Maps or Citymapper
• Ten days out, a festival's page shows the forecast for each of its days
RELIVE EVERY NIGHT
• Setlists for the gigs you were at — and for gigs you added ahead, our predicted setlist against what they actually played
• Play what they played: every song in a setlist opens in Spotify, Apple Music or YouTube Music
• Rate the night out of 10 — the sound, the performance, even the bar prices and queues
• Write a review of every night: keep it to yourself or publish it for everyone to read
• gigstr finds the photos you took at the venue that night, ready to add
• Add up to 10 photos and 5 clips of up to 30 seconds a gig, and trim a clip before it goes up — they upload even if you save them offline at the venue, and carry on with your phone locked
• Add a support act the listing missed
YOUR STATS, YOUR STORY
Gigs per year, most-seen bands (support acts included), top genres, longest streaks, busiest nights — and your year Wrapped, ready to share as a card or a reel. Plus a map of every venue you've ever been to. Share any gig as a card for your story or your feed: its setlist, your ratings, a ticket, a poster, your photos or your review.
GO WITH YOUR PEOPLE
Add buddies, tag who you went with, see what your buddies are going to and how they rated it, and like their nights and photos. Went with a mate who isn't on gigstr yet? Tag them and send the link: once they join, the night goes in their diary. Share a gig or a festival: the link opens in the app, and anyone without it can still see the page. A buddy's profile shows the gigs you've been to and are going to together. And turn on a page of your gigs, your ratings and who you've seen most, to share anywhere.
DISCOVER
Gigs from the artists you follow, what's on near you tonight and the gigs people have just added. Top rated shows the year's number ones as the crowd rated them — the gig, the live act, the venue for sound, the kindest bar prices — plus the support acts who upstaged the headliner and how many perfect 10s have been given. Every artist, venue and genre has its own page — the photos and reviews people share, recent ratings, top songs, similar artists and who's been — and every song in a setlist has one too. Read the reviews and photos people share, night by night, on the Reviews and Photos pages.
Free, with no limit on how many gigs you add.
Your data is yours: your location is private, your reviews are private unless you publish them, your page of gigs is off until you turn it on, your photos are matched on your iPhone and only the ones you pick upload, your calendar is read on your iPhone and only the events you tick are sent (never their notes), and you can delete your account (and everything in it) any time from the app.

What's new in 1.5.1
• Scan a festival's poster: gigstr reads the lineup, headliners first, and you tick the bands you saw. Gig and tour posters work too
• Add your past gigs from a spreadsheet saved as CSV (your own, or another app's export) or every gig you've marked on setlist.fm, and check the whole list before anything goes in
• Clips you can rely on: up to 30 seconds, clips stored in iCloud now work, and big uploads pick up where they stopped and can carry on with your phone locked. An Uploads sheet shows where each one is, and you choose whether to use mobile data
• Top rated: the year's number ones as the crowd rated them, from the gig and the live act to the venue for sound and the kindest bar prices. Plus Upstaged, Split the room, Perfect 10s and your own number ones
• Recently added on Discover: the gigs and festivals people have just added, your buddies marked
• Buddy activity on Home shows what your buddies did last, festivals included, and "I'm going too" on a festival adds it to yours
• A buddy's profile shows the gigs you've been to and are going to together
• Went with a mate who isn't on gigstr? Tag them and send the link: once they join and say they were there, the night goes in their diary and you're buddies
• Turn on a page of your gigs, your ratings and who you've seen most, and share its link anywhere
• Venue pages open on photos of the acts who've played there and close with a map and directions
• Artist pages show the reviews people have published of the gigs they headlined
• A Festivals page lists yours, festivals count towards the cities and genres in your Stats, and you can edit the name and place of one you added
• Search puts venues near you first and is much better at finding what you meant
• A smoother launch, quicker tab switches and a faster Stats page
