Under each reading, a section from the Church Fathers on that passage, with Saint John Chrysostom and the other Eastern Fathers first. Every excerpt is a verbatim section of a public-domain English translation, shown with its Father, work and series. Tap Read more for the whole section.
THE SAINTS AND THEIR ICONS

Browse more than 165 icons of the Great Feasts, the feasts and the saints in one gallery, Pascha and the Twelve Great Feasts first, then the saints. Anxious, grieving, grateful, tempted, angry, lonely, weary or joyful: say how you are, and read one passage of Scripture, a few lines from the Fathers about that very thing, and a single question. Then keep sixty seconds of quiet while a ring of gold tesserae goes out one by one, ending on Amen. No journal, no text field, no streaks.

SUBSCRIPTION
Today's saint, Epistle, Gospel and fast stay free. Full Access is available as an annual subscription with a 7-day free trial, a monthly subscription, or a one-time lifetime purchase. Every plan includes all of Full Access. Payment is charged to your Apple ID. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and you can manage or cancel them in your Apple ID settings. If you cancel, you keep access until the end of the period you paid for, then the free app stays. Lifetime access is one payment with no renewal.
A NOTE ON THE CALENDAR
The calendar, saints, readings and fasting are an approximation of each church's own, drawn from an openly published calendar. Where your parish's calendar differs, your parish is right. Only the New Calendar is included. The app is English only for now.
