Artrio is a joint pain diary that takes ten seconds a day. Say how each joint you follow was today, on a scale from 1 to 5, and you are done. Artrio records the weather of that day by itself, so that after a month you can see whether your joints react to humidity, air pressure or wind.
Your data stays yours. Everything lives on your phone: no account, no cloud, no tracking, and nothing is shared with anyone. The only thing the app fetches is the weather near you, using a coarse location (about 1 km) that is never stored.

THE WEATHER, ADDED FOR YOU
With every day Artrio records the humidity, air pressure, wind, temperature and rainfall of that day. You enter nothing; the context is simply there when you look back.
TOMORROW'S WEATHER SIGNAL
Every day Artrio looks at the forecast for tomorrow and weighs the three factors that matter most in the research: humidity, falling or low air pressure, and wind. You see a plain signal: normal, raised, or clearly raised. When it is clearly raised, you can get a notification the evening before. The signal says how the weather will be, never how your day will be.
INSIGHTS PER JOINT (PREMIUM)
After thirty filled-in days Artrio reads your own days back and compares them with the weather, per joint and per factor. You get an honest verdict for each one: responds, no link found, or not enough data yet. No guesswork, only your own pattern.
A SIGNAL BASED ON YOUR OWN FIGURES (PREMIUM)
Once your own findings are in, the weather signal uses them instead of the averages from the research.
A REPORT FOR YOUR DOCTOR (PREMIUM)
Export your days, medication and the weather as a clear PDF report, so your conversation with your GP, physiotherapist or rheumatologist starts from facts. Or as CSV, for yourself.

The check-in, your medication, the calendar, the weather signal and the notification are free, forever. Premium adds the insights per joint, the signal based on your own figures and the report, with a free first month.

Artrio is based on the study Cloudy with a Chance of Pain (University of Manchester, 2019): on damp, windy days with low pressure the chance of more pain is about 20% higher. That effect is modest and differs from person to person. Artrio is a diary for tracking your own pattern. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose or treat joint conditions. Always consult a doctor with medical questions.
