Classic chess. Beautifully 3D.

$4.99

A warm wooden board. Beautiful 3D pieces. Play the computer, share a device, or challenge a friend through Game Center. Your next good move awaits. A beautiful place for your next good move. OtterChess brings classic chess to iPhone and iPad with a warm wooden board, sculpted 3D pieces and a calm, uncluttered design. PLAY YOUR WAY Challenge the computer at three difficulty levels, share one device with another player, or play turn-based matches through Game Center. Share an invitation with a friend using the system sharing panel. A LITTLE PERSPECTIVE Gently tilt your iPhone or iPad to peek around the standing pieces. The board stays anchored while your view shifts, using only the device's motion sensors — no camera required. ROOM TO THINK Available-move highlights, hints and undo help you explore local games. Choose a flat board when you prefer a simpler view. Local games save automatically so you can return to your position. CLASSIC CHESS Castling, en passant, pawn promotion, checkmate, stalemate and draw rules are built in. Subtle haptics add a satisfying touch on supported devices. One purchase. No advertising or subscriptions. Computer and shared-device games work offline. Online play requires an internet connection and Game Center. Tilt perspective can be turned off in Settings.
