Setlist Strength Log

Knows what you lift next

Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPhone. Not verified for macOS.

Setlist tells you what to lift next session, and now it's free. Invite your personal trainer, or send a routine to a friend. No ads, and no account needed. Setlist is a strength training log for iPhone and Apple Watch that tells you what to lift next session. Log your sets and, when you finish, every exercise gets a verdict: add weight, add reps, or back off. The rule reads your own working sets against your own rep and RIR targets. LOGGING A workout opens as a table: set, last time, weight, reps and an optional RIR column. Warm-up, drop and failure sets, supersets and mid-session swaps. The rest timer starts when you check a set and notifies you when it ends. The plate calculator knows your bar and your gym's plates. APPLE WATCH AND WIDGETS Check off sets from your Apple Watch or from the Lock Screen during a workout. Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets show your next workout. ROUTINES AND PROGRAMS Each exercise in a routine has a prescription: sets, rep range, target RIR, rest, tempo, notes and superset group. A folder of routines can run as a program of several weeks with an optional deload week, and Home shows which routine is next. With Setlist Pro, suggested workouts and programs fit the time you have, the muscles you want to train and the equipment at your gym, drawing on 197 ready-made workouts. TRAIN WITH YOUR TRAINER Invite your personal trainer with their phone number or email. They see your workouts and programs in their own Setlist, with what they planned next to what you did, and send you routines and programs that you add in one tap. Stop sharing at any time and keep everything you were sent. FOR TRAINERS Your clients appear in trainer mode with each client's workouts set by set against the plan. One client is free. Setlist for Trainers adds unlimited clients and includes Setlist Pro for you and for your clients. SHARE Send a routine or program by link. Without the app, the link shows it on the web. Share a finished workout as an image. PROGRESS AND HISTORY With Setlist Pro, Home flags lifts that have stalled and names the muscles under their weekly target. A calendar marks the days you trained; every workout keeps its sets, estimated 1RM, duration and volume. Each exercise has charts, a personal-record table and a pinned note. Estimated 1RM uses the Epley formula on sets of twelve reps or fewer and excludes warm-ups; set volume is weight times reps. EXERCISES AND BODY 373 built-in exercises plus your own. Weight, body fat and fourteen tape sites with a chart. Setlist reads weight and body fat from Apple Health and can save finished workouts to it; both are off until you switch them on. IMPORT AND EXPORT Setlist reads the CSV and zip exports of other training apps, and exports your workouts and body data as CSV at any time. PRIVACY An account is optional. Sign in with Apple, Google or your email to keep your training setup and a copy of your workouts with your account. Without one, your training is stored on your iPhone and in your own iCloud private database. Body measurements and Apple Health data stay on your iPhone either way. If you invite a trainer, your workouts and programs are shared with that one person through iCloud. Setlist sends usage counts and crash reports; turn them off in Settings. No advertising, no tracking. FREE, WITH SETLIST PRO Setlist is free to download, and logging has no caps on routines, exercises or history. Setlist Pro adds suggested workouts and programs, goal targets for each lift, stalled-lift nudges and gyms: $3.99 a month, $29.99 a year with a two-week free trial, or $79.99 once. Setlist for Trainers, for more than one client, is $9.99 a month or $99 a year with a two-week free trial. Payment is charged to your Apple Account. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the period; manage them in Settings, your name, Subscriptions.
