A private space to write, think, and talk. Chat with on-device AI, summarize files, and keep conversations organized. No chat data is sent to an AI service. Scriven Chat is a private AI chatbot that runs on device. Your messages, files, voice transcripts, and saved memories are processed locally and are not sent to Scriven or a third-party AI service. Write a first draft, explore ideas, summarize a document, or talk through a question—all without an app account, ads, or a subscription. CHAT YOUR WAY Type a message, dictate into the composer, or use turn-taking voice conversation while the app is open. Read replies aloud with easy Pause, Resume, and Stop controls. WORK WITH YOUR FILES Attach text files, PDFs, and images. Ask questions about their contents, summarize key points, and open local source references. Long documents may be summarized from selected portions; the app tells you when coverage is partial. KEEP WHAT MATTERS Find saved conversations with local search. Organize ongoing work into projects, edit project instructions, and manage remembered details. Edit messages into new branches while keeping the original conversation. Drafts save automatically. STAY IN CONTROL Use temporary chats, optional app lock, local backup export and restore, and easy deletion with Undo and Trash recovery. Conversations and attachments stay on your device unless you choose to share or export them. Scriven Chat has no app-operated AI server or automatic cloud sync. DEVICE REQUIREMENTS Requires iOS 26 or later and a compatible device with system on-device AI enabled and its model downloaded and ready. Installing the app does not add AI support to unsupported hardware. Availability depends on device, language, and region. Initial system model and speech asset downloads may require an internet connection. Voice input requires microphone permission and supported local speech assets. KNOW THE LIMITS Scriven Chat does not browse the web or provide live information. On-device AI can make factual mistakes, miss details, and produce incomplete answers. Check important information against reliable sources. Voice conversation and playback are designed for foreground use.
