Press “Set out,” put your phone face down, and come back 25 minutes later. That's it. While you focus, your character goes down into the dungeon, fights, and brings back loot.
Each run costs you a minute or two at the start and end. The rest of the time is just the timer. I kept it that short on purpose: if the game itself is too much fun, it defeats the point.
If you come back to the app in the middle of a run, the expedition fails. You lose the loot you were carrying, and depending on the Oath you chose, you may be pushed back a few floors. If your character loses a fight, you lose nothing. Bad luck shouldn't be punished. Only giving up on your focus is.
WHAT YOU CAN DO
- Choose a focus time from 5 to 50 minutes
- Pick one of three Oaths. The stricter the Oath, the bigger the rewards
- Equip a weapon, armor, and accessory. Each piece comes with random traits
- Face a tougher enemy after every four successful runs in a row
- Choose how deep to go. Deeper floors pay more but are riskier, and you can see your estimated survival rate before you set out
YOUR FOCUS RECORD
The number of runs you have completed is kept as your Focus record. It never goes down, no matter what happens. The higher it gets, the more every reward grows.
