Plan your next shoot with the numbers and notes in one place. CreatorCalc brings video, photography and audio reference calculations to iPhone and iPad, with independent project workspaces that work offline.
VIDEO PLANNING
Estimate recording storage, primary and backup media, and battery runtime. Work through shutter time, shutter angle, frame rate, ND exposure, depth of field and field of view. Use your measured values and equipment specifications; selecting a resolution does not infer a bitrate.
PHOTOGRAPHY TOOLS
Calculate ND exposure, exposure value, equivalent focal length, depth of field and field of view. Explore flash guide-number calculations, handheld shutter starting points and time-lapse plans. Build storage and battery budgets from measured RAW/JPEG sizes and runtime. Bellows compensation and a user-calibrated film reciprocity model show their assumptions alongside the result.
AUDIO PLANNING
Estimate PCM or compressed-audio storage, backup copies and measured battery needs. Keep recording notes for track/channel labels, microphone positions, timecode notes, backup routing and issues. CreatorCalc is a planning tool: it does not record, edit, encode or convert audio or video, synchronize timecode, or control equipment.
PROJECTS THAT STAY ORGANIZED
Keep each project's inputs, shot list, equipment, profiles and saved calculations together. Duplicate a project or use a previous shoot as a template. Reorder shots, mark Good or Pickup, and compare entered media and runtime capacity with your plan. Review a combined video/photo/audio media budget and compare scheduling options using your entered shot durations.
SAVE, EXPORT AND BACK UP
Save calculation snapshots with their inputs, results, formulas and units. Export the current project as PDF, CSV or JSON, or create an entire-workspace JSON backup. Preview a backup before replacing the workspace; a local recovery copy is created before replacement. Exported files go to the destination you choose.
OFFLINE BY DESIGN
No registration or app login is required. No subscription, in-app feature unlock, advertising or developer-operated cloud service. Project data is stored on your device. English and Simplified Chinese are included, with an in-app language switch.
ONE-TIME PURCHASE
The App Store purchase includes all offline features, bug fixes and compatibility updates for the current major version. If a future major version is sold separately, its price and scope will be explained before purchase. Local prices are shown by the App Store.
