Picky tells you what's really inside your food. Point your camera at a barcode and get a clear answer in seconds: looks clean, heads up, or skip it. WHY PICKY • One tap, one answer. Green, amber or red, no scores to decode. • Every flag explained. See exactly which ingredient triggered it and why it matters, in one plain sentence. • Your rules, not ours. Turn off what you don't care about, switch on your allergens. • Ingredients highlighted. The full ingredient list with the problem items marked in color. WHAT PICKY FLAGS • Artificial dyes (Red 40, Yellow 5, Yellow 6, Blue 1 and more) • High-fructose corn syrup • Hydrogenated fats • Seed oils (canola, soybean, sunflower, corn...) • Palm oil • Artificial sweeteners (aspartame, sucralose, acesulfame K) • Controversial preservatives (BHA, BHT, TBHQ, nitrites, benzoates) • Gut-irritating additives (carrageenan, polysorbate 80, CMC) • Sugar in the top three ingredients • Ultra-processed foods (NOVA 4) • MSG and artificial flavors (for information) YOUR ALLERGENS Milk, eggs, peanuts, tree nuts, soy, gluten, fish, shellfish and sesame. Anything you select is always flagged in red. WORKS WITH LABELS IN ANY LANGUAGE Picky reads ingredient data from Open Food Facts, a free database of millions of products worldwide. Imported product with a French or German label? Picky still understands it. PRIVATE BY DESIGN No account, no sign-up, no tracking. Your filters and scan history stay on your iPhone. Available in English, Turkish and 23 European languages. Picky is for information only and is not medical advice. Always check the package, especially if you have a food allergy.
