Redesign your room without inventing a new one — the window and door stay put — then get a card with the rug size and lighting your room actually needs. Most room design apps hand you a beautiful picture of somebody else's room. Walls move. A door appears where there is no door. The floor plan quietly changes. It looks wonderful and you cannot buy any of it. This one keeps your room. IT IS STILL YOUR ROOM The window stays where it is. So does the door, the ceiling height and the proportions. Nothing structural is invented, because a preview you cannot act on is decoration, not help. RENTING? SAY SO Pick "Renting" and the redesign only uses what you can take with you: rug, curtains, lighting, furniture, plants, art. Wall colour, flooring and fixtures stay exactly as they are. Most apps ignore this and show renters a demolition they are not allowed to do. Pick "My own place" and walls, flooring and built-ins change too. THEN THE PART NOBODY ELSE DOES Every redesign comes with a card you can take shopping: • the rug size in centimetres, calculated for your room and your sofa or bed • how many light sources and how many lumens the room needs • which lighting layers are missing • the palette, as colour chips • what you take with you versus what stays The rug size is the one that saves money. A rug that is too small is the most common and most expensive mistake in a room, and no rendering warns you about it — on a render the rug is always the right size. WHY YOU TYPE THE ROOM SIZE Because a single photo cannot be measured. Focal length and camera height distort proportions more than rooms differ from each other. An app that confidently announced "3.2 by 4.1 metres" from your photo would be confidently wrong, and the rug advice stands on that number. PAY FOR WHAT YOU USE No subscription. Redesigns come in packs of 10 or 60, because each one is made by AI on our server. A room gets redone once every few years, so buy a pack once: it never expires. YOUR PHOTO It is sent only while a redesign is being made, and it is not stored on our side. Saved versions live on your device.
