Request licensed local taxis across Spain. See an approximate fare before you send your request. No passenger booking fee, commission or surge pricing.
amigo taxi app is a request platform for licensed local taxis across Spain. Use it for city rides, airport pickups and drop-offs, resort travel and longer intercity journeys.
Before you send a request, see the route, estimated journey time and an approximate fare based on the applicable official local taxi tariff. You pay the driver directly in the vehicle.
HOW IT WORKS
• Set your pickup point and destination
• See the route, estimated journey time and an approximate fare before sending your request
• Send your request to nearby licensed drivers; each driver independently decides whether to accept
• When a driver accepts, view the driver and trip details, follow the journey status and message the driver in the app
• Pay the driver directly in the vehicle by cash or card, where offered by the driver
WHERE WE OPERATE
amigo taxi app is available at selected locations across Spain, including Málaga and the Costa del Sol, Alicante and the Costa Blanca, Palma de Mallorca, Ibiza, Barcelona, Tenerife, Gran Canaria, Lanzarote and Fuerteventura. Use it for travel between airports, city centres, hotels, resorts and nearby destinations.
WHAT YOU PAY
• The displayed amount is an approximate reference based on the applicable official local taxi tariff
• Day or night rates, airport supplements, tolls and other locally applicable tariff items may affect the final fare
• The taximeter in the vehicle determines the final ride fare
• You pay the driver directly. amigo taxi app adds no passenger commission, booking fee or surge pricing, and does not process ride payments
FEATURES
• Approximate fare guidance before you send a request
• Licensed local taxis
• Save favourite places and view ride history
• Real-time request and trip status
• In-app messaging with your driver
• Available in English, Spanish and German
ABOUT THE DRIVERS
Drivers are independent, municipally licensed taxi professionals, not employees of amigo taxi app. The app does not assign drivers or operate transport services; a nearby driver independently chooses whether to accept each request. Drivers use the platform through a fixed membership model, not a per-ride commission, so the full metered fare is paid directly to the driver.
