RIMES / Lingxi IME is now XSIME. This update unifies the app name, keyboard name, setup guidance and help text under the new brand. This is an update to the same app: your installed input schemes, learned words, settings and API credentials are retained. No uninstall or new app account is needed. Offline typing and Buffer remain free. Optional external AI still uses your own provider and API key; no AI subscription is included.

Adds Lingxi Wubi with direct Wubi and Pinyin input. Wubi 86 now supports z-prefixed Pinyin lookup with smaller Wubi code hints beside candidates. Existing schemes and learned words are preserved. Both Wubi schemes automatically commit a unique four-key Wubi match while keeping ambiguous codes and Pinyin lookups available for selection.

Improves typing responsiveness and reduces unnecessary resource use after closing Buffer or switching apps. Import standard Rime scheme ZIPs and coded UTF-8 text dictionaries from Settings. Review, deploy, and enable schemes without repacking them for each platform. This update improves upstream package compatibility, recovery after failed imports, package removal, and paired full-keyboard and nine-key schemes.

• Compatible imported full-Pinyin schemes, including the updated Wanxiang package, can switch between 26-key and native nine-key layouts. Candidate selection, spelling selection and Buffer continue to use the imported scheme. • Improved keyboard startup and height recovery when the host temporarily provides extra space. • Keyboard layout menus now show the layout actually in use. Existing chord mappings and learned data are retained.

• Improved Chinese punctuation on the number and symbol pages. Full-Pinyin nine-key input now offers common punctuation directly in the candidate row. • Improved Rime scheme import for packages with dictionaries and read-only phrase tables in subfolders. • AI sending confirmation now appears inside the keyboard. Updated guidance explains Apple on-device translation and optional AI services. • Improved input-engine resource cleanup when closing the keyboard.
