Netvitals: Wi-Fi & IP Info

VPN detection, DNS, data usage

$1.99 · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.

See network details from public iOS APIs and run an on-demand speed test. No accounts, ads, tracking, or stored results. Every network fact your iPhone will share, on one screen. Netvitals reads your connection the way iOS actually sees it. No account, no ads, no tracking, no subscription — one purchase, and the whole readout is yours. Pull to refresh, tap any value to copy it, or share the entire report as plain text. WHAT YOU SEE • Connection — link type, status, gateways, IPv4/IPv6/DNS reachability, plus Low Data Mode and expensive-link flags • Latency — a live round-trip measurement to a public resolver • Speed test — on-demand download, upload and latency through Cloudflare's edge • Wi-Fi — network name, BSSID, encryption and auto-join state • Cellular — radio technology and generation, per SIM • Public address — your public IPv4 and IPv6, ISP, ASN, approximate location and time zone • Local addresses — every address on every active interface, with prefix length • DNS — the resolvers and search domains your device is using right now • Proxy & VPN — HTTP and HTTPS proxies, PAC URL, and whether a VPN tunnel is active (Netvitals detects VPNs; it does not provide one) • Data since boot — Wi-Fi, cellular and VPN byte counters, plus a live throughput rate • All interfaces — state, MTU, packets, errors and flags for every interface on the device BUILT TO BE HONEST Netvitals stores nothing. Most readings come directly from public iOS APIs. Public-address providers see your IP during refresh. The speed test contacts Cloudflare only after you start and confirm it, and Netvitals never submits your result. It does not scan your local network or enumerate your other devices, so it never asks for local network permission. Wi-Fi network names require location permission — that is an iOS rule, not ours. Netvitals only asks when you tap Reveal, and never uses your location for anything else. WHO IT IS FOR Network engineers checking what a phone actually negotiated. Developers debugging on device. Anyone who wants to know which DNS resolver their router handed out, whether a VPN is really up, or what their carrier is calling 5G today.
