Rescue everyone before the tide comes in: 45 hand-designed islands, a nine-lesson tutorial and nine groups of four. Start for free with 14 islands. The tide advances with every decision. Choose who to pick up first, plan your return and bring your group back to the boat. Forshore: Tide Rescue is a turn-based puzzle game for iPhone and iPad. There is no real-time countdown: take a look at the board and think before moving. Numbers on the sand tell you when the water will arrive. ONE STEP CAN CHANGE YOUR ROUTE Move across dry ground, pick people up and return to the boat to bring them to safety. You can only carry so many. A rope lets you cross one water tile, but you still need a way back. The next island only opens once everyone is safe. CHOOSE YOUR TIDE Breeze gives you unlimited undo. Tide, the default mode, gives you three undos per island. Storm forgives nothing. The second lifebuoy rewards saving everyone with the best possible route. NINE GROUPS OF ISLANDS Each group brings a new mechanic and ends with two big islands: flats that flood and dry out again, rocks that sink after you step on them, injured people who take two places and can't travel by rope, waves, frightened people who won't stay still, islets you cross with planks, and two rescuers taking turns. Every island comes with its own kit, and on many you choose between two: rope, sandbags, planks or a harness. You can also wait a turn for the water to drop. IF YOU GET STUCK After an attempt that doesn't save everyone you get a hint; after two, another; after three, you can watch the full best route. We ask before showing it: that island, with that kit, will then give one lifebuoy at most. START FOR FREE The nine-lesson tutorial, Quiet Coves and The Breakwater are free: 14 islands. One full-game unlock adds the other 31 islands of the archipelago.
