WHAT IT DOES
• Photo recognition: photograph your plant and PlantEye suggests the species from a catalog of 302 houseplants and garden plants, with up to three options so you make the final call.
• A care plan for every species: how often to water, how much light it wants, which humidity, when to feed and when to repot.
• Care reminders: a local notification at the right moment for each plant, so nothing dries out while you are away.
• A care journal: every watering, feeding and repotting, per plant and over time, so you can see what actually worked.
• It learns your plants: confirm a species once and the app remembers what your plant looks like, recognizing it faster next time. Each of the 302 species has its own drawing, so you can tell them apart at a glance.
HOW THE SCHEDULE WORKS
PlantEye does not use a fixed "water every 7 days" timer. It starts from the baseline for the species, then adjusts for the light your plant really gets and for the season — more often in summer, and a genuine rest period in winter for species that need one. Over time it compares your actual watering rhythm with the recommendation and tells you whether you are over- or underwatering.
