Casebound for iPhone and iPad is a clean, focused player for chaptered audiobooks — and with iCloud Drive it keeps your books and your place in sync with your Mac and PC. Listen Browse your library, pick up where you left off from Continue Listening, jump between chapters, scrub, skip 30 seconds, and change playback speed. Set a sleep timer for 5 to 60 minutes or the end of the chapter, and Casebound gently fades out before it pauses, keeping your place. Playback keeps going with the screen locked, and you can pause, skip, and scrub from the lock screen and your AirPods or other Bluetooth headphones. After a call or other interruption, Casebound picks up where it stopped. Your library, everywhere Keep your books in iCloud Drive › Documents › Audiobooks — the same folder Casebound on your Mac and Casebound for Windows use. Any .m4b you put there shows up in your library, and books not yet on this device download when you open them. Your place follows you With iCloud Drive, leave off on one device and continue on another. Each device saves where you are, and the most recent place wins wherever you open the book next. Syncing your place across devices requires an iCloud account with iCloud Drive turned on. No iCloud? Any folder works Not using iCloud? Choose any folder in the Files app — On My iPhone, another app's folder, or a server — and Casebound plays the .m4b books in it. Books in a folder like that play on this device only, and your place stays on this device. Converting happens on your Mac or PC To turn a folder of MP3s into a single chaptered M4B, use Casebound on your Mac or Windows PC. Save the finished book to iCloud Drive › Documents › Audiobooks and it appears on your iPhone and iPad automatically. Casebound is built for people who already own their audio and want a clean, chaptered book they can actually finish.

Converting has moved to Casebound for Mac and Windows: books you convert there appear here automatically through iCloud Drive › Documents › Audiobooks, with your listening position kept in sync. Don't use iCloud? You can now choose any folder in Files, such as On My iPhone; books there play on this device only, and your place stays on this device. New sleep timer: stop after 5 to 60 minutes or at the end of the chapter, with a gentle fade-out before it pauses. A short "Getting your books" note (the ⓘ button in your library) replaces the old Help tab.
