Learn Japanese with one word a day, explained in Spanish: type the reading in kana, discover the kanji, review. No accounts, no ads, no internet. Kotobita is a word game for learning Japanese, made for Spanish speakers (the interface and explanations are in Spanish). Each word is shown with its meaning in Spanish; you type its reading in kana. When you get it right, a card opens: kanji, reading, romaji, an example sentence in Japanese and Spanish, and spoken pronunciation. You never have to write kanji: the answer is always the reading, as in the best methods. No Japanese keyboard needed. Three input modes: • Choices: pick the right reading out of four (great for starting out). • Grid: guess the word kana by kana on a gojūon keyboard, with row, column and dakuten hints (た ↔ だ). • Expert: type romaji on the regular keyboard and it turns into hiragana as you go. What's inside: • A daily word, the same for everyone, with streaks. • Unlimited practice by length and by topic. • JLPT N5 and N4 vocabulary: 1,430 words with examples in Japanese and Mexican Spanish. • Beginner, N5 or N4 level with a quick placement test. • Study: spaced-repetition cards and quizzes. • Daily missions, chest, stars, streak freeze and badges. • A notebook with every word seen, XP and ranks. • Interactive tutorial with Lupe the axolotl. • Light and dark themes, colorblind option. No account, no ads, no purchases and no internet: everything stays on your iPhone. Made with care by Upa Lupe Games.
