Walk into the tavern, take the Foreman's order and dig for words. Smash rocks, collect gems, blast through with breakers. Then go deeper.
Word Descent Rush is a cosy word puzzle with a mine under the tavern. Every depth starts the same way: you walk in, the Foreman hands you an order, and you go down to fill it.
Spell words to dig
Tap letters on the board to spell a word, then hit Dig. Every word you play clears its tiles and breaks the ground around them. Longer and rarer words pay more coins.
Fill the Foreman's order
Each depth has an order: smash the rocks, collect the gems, break a boulder, melt the ice. Aim your words at the targets and fill the order before your moves run out. Do it with moves to spare and you earn three stars, and the Foreman raises a mug to you.
Blast your way through
Pick the right tiles and the board goes off: four in a row clears the whole row, a square of four sets off a bomb, a plus shape fires Crossfire down its row and column. From depth 12 you can take a power-up down with you; from depth 41, Heavy Ordnance.
Pocket the coins
Order pay, word coins and a bonus for every move you didn't need all land in your pouch. Spend them on hints when a board has you stuck, or on a refill when your candle burns low.
Then go deeper
Five strata, from the Topsoil through the Caverns, the Frost Halls and the Magma Deep down to the Abyss. The mine gets richer the further down you dig: bigger boards, new shapes, boulders that take two hits, ice to melt, and a Mother Lode every ten depths. The Foreman is always waiting upstairs with a mug and the next order.
Play in your language
English, Italian, German, Spanish, French or Polish, each with its own dictionary and its own letters.
Made for short breaks
A depth takes a couple of minutes. No timer, no opponent, no pressure. Come back tomorrow for the daily streak and a fuller piggy bank.
Word Descent Rush is free to play. Optional in-app purchases add coins and energy. Rewarded videos are always optional.
