New in 1.4: Portal Wars. Sit across from a friend on one iPad or an open iPhone Duo, build your kingdoms and send soldiers through the Gate.
It starts with a grid. Then you build a kingdom.
Keepsweeper mixes Minesweeper-style deduction with a living, real-time fantasy kingdom. Read the number clues. Send workers to uncover tiles. Turn a small clearing into farms, homes and defenses. Then decide whether you're ready to wake the dragon.
A LITTLE KINGDOM. BIG POSSIBILITIES.
Build an economy that works together. Windmills support farms. Blacksmiths equip your soldiers. Chapels keep the army fighting. Discover combinations that turn a modest settlement into something wonderfully overpowered.
EVERY SQUARE HAS A STORY
Hidden gold, treasure chests, goblin lairs, crypts and sleeping dragons wait beneath the grid. Explore forests, cross lakes and settle mountain country. Dig carefully. The numbers are trying to tell you something.
CHOOSE YOUR ADVENTURE
Follow four quest paths: Dragon Hunt, Royal Treasury, Reclaim the Realm and Rival Kingdoms. The full game adds two twenty-level campaigns: Into the Badlands, with ruined roads, buried archives and Ancient Gates, and Beyond the Pines, where outlaw strongholds and dragon-summoning wizards hide in the northern forests. Head into the Wilds for a larger expedition, or see how long you can survive endless Siege.
A NEW REALM EVERY DAY
Explore a shared Daily Realm with special objectives. Record your victories in the Realm Journal and earn Royal Seals for first completions.
MAKE THE NEXT RUN YOURS
Earn Royal Seals and spend them in Research. Unlock new buildings, upgrades and permanent Passives for future runs. Discover treasures that change the rules: sunbeam-firing towers, floating settlements, unlikely allies and creatures you probably shouldn't have disturbed.
FRIENDS, RIVALS AND YOUR OWN WORLDS
Play online with two to four players. Fight for the last Keep standing, form teams, face AI kingdoms together or hold the line in Co-op Siege. Share an invitation link and friends join your game for free. Build and play your own scenarios in the Map Editor.
OLD-SCHOOL WINDOWS. LIVING PIXELS.
A familiar beveled interface opens onto busy little worlds. Workers harvest. Soldiers march. Dragons breathe fire. An adaptive fantasy soundtrack follows the action. Pause solo play whenever you need a moment to think.
TRY IT. KEEP IT.
Play the first two levels of Dragon Hunt, Royal Treasury, Reclaim the Realm and Rival Kingdoms for free, with unlimited randomized replays. Try one Daily Realm for free, with unlimited retries of that selected realm. One optional purchase unlocks the full game, including the remaining quest levels, Into the Badlands, Beyond the Pines, Daily Realm, Wilds, Siege, hosting multiplayer games and Map Editor.
Solo quests, Wilds, Siege and local custom maps can be played offline. Daily calendar updates, optional reminders, online multiplayer, community maps, purchases and restoring purchases need an internet connection. Progress is saved on your device.
Honestly I don’t write reviews much, and when i found the game from instagram i found the page to be strangely calm. differentiating from every other game on any platform. I played the free version and within three levels I loved the idea. It kind of bummed me out that the game costed 5.99 but the game has such a promising future where they could go in any direction, some ideas would absolutely rival any big game if the right audience finds it. For the reviews i’ve looked at before about the lag or stuttering issues, it’s seemingly fixed or a case of their device being weak/malfunctioning. I say that because i played a match for an hour straight just maxing everything and having fun building on the world. Even to the point where it only really stutters when i had 200+ troops and workers, and also opened up every single mob area on the map, which, is honestly impressive. I don’t have any real complaints other than the fact that the game is new and so the content in the end game lacks, but it’s expected for every game. The only suggestions i have is a suggestions box where you could submit some, or a search inside the map editor to find other people’s maps if they submit them publicly. Or just overall just more customization like “skins” like a viking village that you start off with, or different modifiers. Overall, the game could stretch in so many directions, and i hope they do because it’s such an addictive type of game.
Best iOS game I’ve played in ages
TerkelG
Love the mix of Minesweeper and building out a kingdom. Expanding the grid is so satisfying. Genuinely the best iOS game I’ve played in a long time. Thank you for making this!
Game freezes constantly anytime you take an action
TheTonyAlvarez
I’m playing siege on the largest board and after about siege level 30, it freezes for 10+ seconds for any action I try to take. If I try and place a tower, 10-seconds freeze. If I try to view a building’s details, 15-second freeze. It takes me five minutes to place towers along a road because of the freeze each time. I thought it was maybe the passive resources I was collecting maybe was taking up too much compute or something. Removed all passive resources building but no luck. At this point i give up. Seems like it lost its shelf life after about a week.
Modern Retro Gaming at its best!
Lee Rubenstein
Just downloaded it and I’ve already played for almost 3 hours. It’s Minesweeper + Command & Conquer with a sprinkle of Dungeons & Dragons.
Keepsweeper 1.4 brings two-player games to one screen.
PORTAL WARS
Sit across from a friend with one iPad or an open iPhone Duo. Each of you builds a kingdom on your own map, then sends soldiers through your Gate to attack the other's Keep. Lairs, dragons, raider camps and crypts are optional.
CO-OP SIEGE ON ONE DEVICE
Two Keeps side by side against waves from the red portals. If one Keep falls, your partner can send workers to rebuild it from the ruins.
EVERY MAP IS DIFFERENT
Two-player worlds can now roll deserts, beaches, pine woods, discoveries, weather and new landscape shapes.
ALSO NEW
Support for iPhone Duo, open and closed. iPad games in portrait fill the screen. Smoother big kingdoms, organic roads, redrawn buildings and statues, and a safer recovery if a saved run cannot be opened. Thank you for all your reports!
