SafeRide LK is the app for the families and staff of school transport services in Sri Lanka. Parents follow their child's bus on the days it runs, and the bus team records every pickup and drop-off as it happens.
Accounts are created by your transport service. There is no public sign-up in the app.
FOLLOW THE BUS ON A LIVE MAP
When the attendant starts a trip, you can watch the bus move on a map until that trip ends. The position comes from the attendant's phone on board. SafeRide does not track your child's device or yours.
UPDATES THROUGH THE DAY
You are notified when your child boards the bus, when they are dropped at school, and when they are dropped at home. If the attendant corrects a mark afterwards, you are told about that too. The bus team can also send a short message to the parents on a route.
TELL THEM ABOUT AN ABSENCE
Marking your child absent takes a couple of taps, for one trip, a whole day, or a range of dates. The attendant sees an updated boarding list, so the bus does not wait at your stop.
REACH THE BUS TEAM
Your child's bus, attendant and driver details sit in the app, with buttons that open your phone's own dialler or messages app.
FOR BUS ATTENDANTS
Attendants get the day's route and boarding list, mark each child boarded, dropped off or missed, reorder stops, and message the parents on their route. Marks are saved on the device without a signal and sync when the connection returns.
PAYMENT RECORDS, NOT PAYMENTS
SafeRide does not process payments. You pay your transport service directly, outside the app, in cash or by bank deposit, and they record it. The app then shows your monthly invoices, whether each one is settled, and lets you download a receipt.

Switch between English and Sinhala whenever you like.
PRIVACY
Location is collected only from the attendant's device, only while a trip is running, and it stops when the trip ends. The privacy policy and support page are linked inside the app.
