Remember names with one clue
Only for iPhone

iPhone
Save the name with one clue, like "red jacket" or "Elm St cafe". Search the clue later and practice from it. A name you get right comes back after 1 day, then 3, then 7.
You just met someone. The name is already going.
Type the name and one clue, like "red jacket" or "host at the Elm St cafe". Search that clue later and the person is there.
Practice from the clue. A name you get right comes back after 1 day, then 3, then 7. A miss comes back right away.
Names stay on this phone unless you turn on backup. No account, no photos, no contacts access, no ads.
What you can do
- Save a name and a clue in a few seconds
- Search names, clues, places, tags and notes
- Practice with spaced cards (Got it / Not yet)
- Add how a name sounds, where you met, and tags
- Export or import a CSV, for a class list or a new team
- Delete the notebook on this phone
Capture, search, practice and CSV are free, with no limit on people. A one-time purchase adds three notebook colors and a backup of the notebook in iCloud on your Apple ID. After a reinstall or on a new iPhone, restore the purchase and turn backup on, and the names in the backup come back.
Ratings & Reviews
- This app hasn’t received enough ratings or reviews to display an overview.
The one-time purchase now works. The store price shows on the button, and Restore purchases brings it back after a reinstall.
On iPhone the purchase adds a backup of your notebook in iCloud on your Apple ID, along with three notebook colors. Turning backup on merges an earlier backup instead of writing over it.
If the App Store cannot be reached, the purchase sheet says so instead of waiting. Error messages are plain sentences, and the invite message includes the App Store link.
