Over the years, every date gathers a small stack of lines: this year, last year, the year before. Reading them back is the point. THE LOOKBACK Open the app on any day and see what you wrote on this date in earlier years, newest first. In your first weeks, before there is a "last year", it shows a week ago and a month ago, so the habit pays off from day eight. A WIDGET THAT REMEMBERS FOR YOU Put last year's line on your home screen. Every morning it changes. Tap it to open that day. FOR NEW PARENTS One line about your child's day is enough. "Said 'mama' for the first time at breakfast." A year later it comes back, and then again the year after. Attach one photo from that day; Relined can even suggest your own photos from this date in earlier years. THE BOOK Every year becomes a single scrolling page: months, lines, photos, and a small recap of how many days you wrote, your most common mood, and your longest streak. Export any year as a PDF, or every line as CSV. Your words are always yours to take. BRING YOUR HISTORY Switching from Day One? Import its JSON export, zipped or not, or any CSV with a date and a line. The lookback works on day one. PRIVATE BY DESIGN No account. No server. No analytics. Your entries live on your iPhone and in your own iCloud, which keeps your iPhone and iPad in sync. We can't read them. Photo access is asked for only when you tap the photo well; notifications only when you set a reminder. ONE GENTLE REMINDER Pick a time. Relined nudges you once a day, with last year's line as the message, and stays quiet on days you've already written. PAY ONCE Your first 30 days are free. After that, a single one-time purchase keeps you writing, forever. Everything you've written stays readable and exportable whether you pay or not. Relined is made by a two-person studio and has no investors to please. It does one thing, and it will still do that thing in five years.
