CroMusic: Offline Music Player
FLAC & MP3, EQ, Cloud Sync
Free
Play the music you own—MP3, FLAC, ALAC and more—with a 10-band EQ, playlists that sync via iCloud, and controls on Apple Watch. No ads, no account, no subscription.
CroMusic is a fast, uncluttered player for the music you already own. Import your audio files, organize them into playlists, shape the sound with a 10-band equalizer and, if you like, keep your library in sync across iPhone, iPad and Mac with iCloud. No ads, no account, no subscription, no streaming catalog. Just your music.
YOUR FILES, YOUR LIBRARY
• Plays MP3, AAC/M4A, Apple Lossless (ALAC), FLAC, WAV, AIFF and CAF
• Import many files at once from the Files app, iCloud Drive or connected storage. Your original files are never modified
• Search by title, artist or album; sort by title, artist, album, time, date added or play count
• Your audio lives in the CroMusic folder in the Files app, so it is always yours to see and back up
OPTIONAL ICLOUD SYNC
• Turn on iCloud Sync and your songs, playlists and play counts follow you to iPhone, iPad and Mac
• Audio is kept in your own iCloud Drive; song info and playlist order sync through your private iCloud database
• See at a glance which songs are downloaded, downloading or still in iCloud. Tap one that isn't here yet and it starts playing as soon as it arrives
• Prefer to keep everything on this device? Just leave iCloud Sync off
LISTEN YOUR WAY
• 10-band equalizer with preamp, left/right balance and presets: Flat, Pop, Rock, Classical, Vocal and Bass Boost
• Four play modes: Sequential, Repeat All, Repeat One and Shuffle
• A full-screen player on iPhone, and a Mac-style column view with a player bar on iPad
• Background playback with controls on the Lock Screen, in Control Center and in the Dynamic Island, plus AirPlay
• Pauses automatically for calls and when headphones are unplugged
PLAYLISTS THAT KEEP UP
• Create, rename, reorder and delete playlists
• Add songs with a long press, or select several songs at once
• Drag songs into your own order; the order syncs to your other devices
GARBLED TAGS, FIXED
Songs tagged by older Chinese, Japanese or Korean software often show up as gibberish such as "Ô¹âµç̨". CroMusic works out the original encoding (GBK/GB 18030, Big5, Shift-JIS, EUC-KR and more) and shows the right title, artist and album automatically, without rewriting your files. Accented text such as "Café" is left untouched.
APPLE WATCH
Control the music playing on your iPhone from your wrist:
• See what's playing, play or pause, skip, and switch play modes
• Browse All Songs and your playlists, and start any list from any song
Music stays on your iPhone. The Apple Watch app requires watchOS 26 and your iPhone nearby.
MADE FOR YOU
• English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese and Japanese, switchable any time in Settings
• Light, Dark or System appearance
• Keyboard shortcuts on iPad with a hardware keyboard
PRIVACY FIRST
CroMusic collects no data. No analytics, no tracking, no sign-up. Your library stays on your devices and, if you choose, in your own iCloud account.
Please note: CroMusic plays audio files you already have. It does not stream or download music, and it can't play copy-protected (DRM) tracks.
