Blaha is a planner for Vikunja, not just a list.
Vikunja holds your tasks. Blaha gives them a system — defer dates, review
cycles and perspectives of your own — on iPhone, iPad and Mac.
Your tasks stay on your own server. There is no account to create here, no
backend of ours in the middle, and nothing about you is collected.
WHAT IT DOES
Forecast — today and the days ahead, with your calendar events beside the
tasks that are due, so an afternoon that is already full looks full.
Tasks — everything you could do now. Deferred work is hidden until its date,
and the count of what is hidden is always shown.
Calendar — month, week and day, reading the calendars already on your device.
Projects — nested projects, with available and deferred work separated.
Review — a review cycle per project, so a project cannot quietly go stale.
Perspectives — saved filters of your own: next actions, this week, waiting on.
Each takes a place in the sidebar and behaves like any other screen.
Blocked — work that is waiting on another task, gathered in one place.
ON THE MAC AND IPAD
Three columns: where you are, what is coming, and the task you are editing —
without leaving the list to edit it. Command-1 to Command-7 move between
screens.
IT WORKS OFFLINE
Changes made without a connection are queued and sent when the server is
reachable again. Widgets and a share extension are included on both platforms.
TRY IT WITHOUT A SERVER
Tap "Try the demo" on the first screen and Blaha runs against sample data held
entirely on the device — no server, no account, no network. Every feature works
there, including the calendar, which uses its own sample events rather than
reading yours.
WHAT IT COSTS
Blaha is free to use as a full task client: Forecast, Tasks, Calendar, Done,
capture, the share extension and the widgets.
A one-time unlock adds the six features that turn a list into a system:
Projects, Blocked, Review, Perspectives, defer dates and multiple accounts.
There is no subscription.
Everything is open for a 7-day trial from first launch, so the paid layer can
be judged before it is bought.
WHAT YOU NEED
A Vikunja server you host, or a Vikunja Cloud account, reachable over HTTPS.
Or neither — the demo needs nothing at all.
