Marbles: roll something other than apricot. Tap Marbles on the home screen for five new ones: the Fireball, which streams flames behind it and lights up the road; Ember, black raku with fire glowing in its cracks; Jasper, matte blue with a white laurel garland; and Dune and Sakura, souvenirs of Liwa Dunes and Sakura Lane. Try any marble in a free flow run before you buy it, or get all five together as First Firing. Marbles change only how the ball looks: every one rolls, scores and bumps the same.

Four new courses: Sakura Lane, downhill through cherry blossom and torii; Liwa Dunes, over crest after crest of desert sand; Gridlock, an abandoned highway where every gate is a gap between parked cars; and Ribeira Brava, up a green river gorge on Madeira between banana plants. Every course is longer now, 10 seconds more than the one before, from 50 seconds to three minutes, with more bends, hairpins and crests and re-scored music. First Snow and Glacier Pass have new gates: walls of snow. Crater Field's craters are smaller and fairer, and the gates on the trickier courses are a little wider. A new home screen shows each course as a glazed porcelain tile, and a new app icon. Lighter on your phone: steadier frame rate and less heat, and each landscape loads faster.

Eight new courses on the open road: forest hills, misty switchbacks, a sweeping valley, a hairpin ridge, the climb to the Summit, a crater field, fresh snow, and a glacier pass of clear ice. Each has its own music. Finish a course to unlock the next. Smoother play, up to 120 Hz on ProMotion iPhones. New in Sound & comfort: share anonymous progress, with no account or device ID, so we can see how far players get and tune the courses. You can turn it off at any time. Three original soundtracks to choose from. Pick yours when you open the game, or change it any time in Sound & comfort. An optional tip for the developer, offered once after your fifth course and always in Sound & comfort. It unlocks nothing; every course stays free.
