Remove the background from any photo in seconds, right on your iPhone. Hair and fine edges stay crisp. No uploads, no account, no credits. Export in full resolution. Cutout removes the background from any photo in seconds, right on your iPhone. Pick a photo and the background is gone. Hair, fur and fine edges stay crisp, and you export a clean, transparent PNG at the original resolution. No uploads, no account, no credits, no watermark on your Pro exports. WHY CUTOUT • Private by design: every photo is processed on your device. Nothing is uploaded, not to us and not to a cloud AI. • Real detail: a high-resolution AI model built for fine structures such as hair, fur, plants and thin edges. • Full quality: export at the original resolution of your photo, up to 48 MP, with its colour profile preserved. • Fast and simple: one tap to remove the background, a few more to perfect it. CLEAN EDGES, REAL DETAIL • Separates people, pets, products, cars, plants, food, logos and illustrations • Keeps flyaway hair and fur instead of cutting it off • Holes stay holes: bike spokes, bag handles, chains and gaps between fingers • Edge colour clean-up removes the tint of the old background, so cutouts look natural on any new colour • Works in bright and dark scenes, on busy backgrounds and with subjects that touch the edge of the frame REFINE IN SECONDS • Erase and Restore brushes for pixel-perfect touch-ups • Offset cursor and magnifier, so your finger never hides what you are editing • Adjustable brush size and edge softness • Several people or objects in one photo? Tap to choose which ones to keep • Hold to compare with the original at any time • Zoom deep into the image and undo or redo any step • Your edit is saved automatically, so you can continue where you left off NEW BACKGROUNDS • Keep it transparent, or choose white, black, any colour, or a blurred version of the original photo • Perfect white-background product photos in one tap CROP AND SIZE • Crop to 1:1, 4:5, 3:4, 16:9 or 9:16, or keep the original size • Pinch and drag to frame your subject exactly • Ready for online shop listings, marketplaces, profile pictures, stories, thumbnails and presentations EXPORT THE WAY YOU NEED • Transparent PNG, plus JPEG, HEIC and TIFF • Original resolution, 4K, 2048 px or 1024 px • Save to Photos or Files, or share straight to any app • Optionally remove location data from exported photos BATCH MODE • Remove the background from many photos at once • Review each result, fix the ones that need it, and export them all together as a ZIP MADE FOR • Sellers and small businesses creating product photos • Creators designing thumbnails, stickers, collages and social posts • Designers who need a quick, clean mask • Anyone who wants a great profile picture or wants to put themselves on a new background HOW IT WORKS 1.
