HALLOWEEN EVENT: NIGHT OF THE DAMNED From Friday October 30 at 6 pm to Monday November 2: twice the materials, a gift in the Mail, a jack-o'-lantern in the decorations catalogue and the city by night. Don't miss it! NEW • The Dark Wood and all nine circles of Hell redecorated: ten new set pieces per circle, drawn from Dante, and a new monument in each, down to Lucifer, the fallen angel. • The Colosseum, a new building: a team of five angels fights the fallen legions, earns laurels and climbs from heaven to heaven, one season a week. • Eight city buildings redrawn in finer detail, in the style of the Refectory. • An ordered helm is now put on the angel right away. • Ascension no longer replays the prologue, saving is safer, and many small fixes.

NEW • Halloween: the Night of the Damned, from Friday October 30 at 6 pm to Monday November 2. Twice the materials, a gift in the Mail, a jack-o'-lantern in the decorations catalogue and the city by night. • A new title screen, the floating city above Hell, and a new icon. • New background music. • You can finally hear the blows in battle. • Guardians hold out longer the deeper you go, up to Lucifer, who can be beaten at every Trial. • The damned get tougher circle after circle, and the hardest circles pay far more gold. • At Trial IV, the damned and the guardians hit less hard. • An angel revived by Beatrice's Statue heals and eats in the city before going back down. • The next light appears a few seconds after the previous one. • In a new game, the Gate's first angel arrives even while the game is closed. • In the city, all angels walk at the same pace: Speed only counts in the circles. • Wrath and Fraud scenery reworked, a few images fixed, and Virgil's window no longer runs off the screen.

NEW • The two currencies swap: soul shards are bought, light is gathered in Hell. • A rebuilt Shop, a reward for each day you show up, the Mail and three daily missions. • At the Gate: one free invitation a day, eleven angels for the price of ten, and a filter that sends away the ones you don't want. • The city rebuilt: services in three sizes, the Infirmary, materials to upgrade buildings. • The Warehouse in three tabs, with « Dismantle all ». • Angels say what they lack. • The game takes its time: angels, the damned, Dante and Virgil move 20% slower. • Each angel strikes their own way: the Warrior's sword, the Paladin's shield, the Sorcerer's orb, the Archer's red arrow. • A small health bar under each angel. • In battle, angels now and then crack a line. • Light becomes a drop that floats and wanders around its circle. • Loot on the ground glows in the colour of its family. • Windows light up as angels come in; the Palace, the White Rose, the Scriptorium and the Bounty Office stay lit. • The guardians' music now plays as loud as the rest. • Virgil wears his name above his head, like Dante. • Spread two fingers to get closer to your angels.

NEW • Combat reworked and easy to read: a damned soul strikes the nearest angel, everyone only strikes within range, and a ranged angel that gets caught hits softer. • Each class has its role: the Warrior strikes, the Paladin protects by drawing the blows, the Archer pierces from afar, the Sorcerer burns. • Guardians are much tougher: some will take several attempts, a larger legion or better gear. • Workshops open with their building: the Trading Post, Refectory, Healing Sanctuary, Celestial Forge, Goldsmithy and Herbalist show their contents as soon as you tap them. IMPROVEMENTS • Archers no longer flee from the damned: once caught, they hold their ground. • The game follows your iPhone's language, and its name fits under the icon. • Virgil: his favour of lights can be taken twice a day. FIXES • The Palace shows the Trials and the Dashboard again. • A game recovered from iCloud keeps your phone's language.

NEW • Dante, the tax collector, walks the city. Tap him to collect the city's gold; a coin shines above his head when the cap is reached. • A new opening: at the start of a game, Beatrice shows you around Heaven and explains how your legion lives. • "Change device" in the options: your game is sent to iCloud when you leave. • "Recover a game" on the home screen, to find your progress on a new iPhone. • Each circle's altar now returns every 6 hours instead of 24. • The Gate presents a new candidate every 10 to 15 minutes. IMPROVEMENTS • Angels, damned, characters and scenery now share the same scale. • A damned soul that rises can be seen before it falls, and melee angels reach their new target before trading blows. • Lighter building windows; the Treasure Chamber and the Bounty Office take 4 tiles. FIXES • Angels no longer glide out of a building or the statue, see-through. • A fallen angel's body stays where it fell. • No more victories counted on a damned soul that was already dead. • Virgil no longer loses his cloak while walking, and Dante no longer marks time on the spot. REMOVED • The weekend bonus: it will come back as events.
