Press Start and learn. LOAD sizes every session to how you learn, every word comes back right before you'd forget it, and each session ends with a sentence to test you.
Wordload teaches you Japanese vocabulary with progressive overload — the same principle strength athletes use to get stronger.
No decks to pick. No intervals to tune. No daily limits to guess. Open the app, press Start, train for a few minutes. The LOAD Engine decides the rest.
HOW IT WORKS
• You start at 5 new words a day.
• After every session, the LOAD Engine measures your retention, recall speed, review backlog and completion.
• Doing well? Tomorrow's load goes up.
• Falling behind? It deloads so you can recover — then builds you back up.
• Strong learners grow to 30–40 new words a day. The load is earned, never forced.
WHAT YOU LEARN
• 6,000 common Japanese words, ordered so the most useful come first
• 1,600+ kanji, always met in context
• An example sentence with native audio for every word
• Reading and listening practice: meaning, reading and recall exercises
• Type answers in kana with the built-in romaji-to-hiragana keyboard
BUILT FOR CONSISTENCY
• Spaced repetition schedules every review for you
• Each session is sized to your real pace, with a time estimate up front
• "Keep going" rounds whenever you want to learn more
• Levels 1–100, earned by what you actually remember
• A finish-line estimate based on your own progress
• A daily reminder at the time you choose
• Audio for your first 1,000 words is built in, so you can train offline
• Progress backs up automatically — sign in with Apple to use it on another device
SUBSCRIPTION
Wordload is free until you reach Level 5. To keep training after that, choose a monthly or yearly Wordload subscription. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel anytime in your App Store account settings.

Wordload 2 is a new way to learn:
• No more daily quota — learn in sessions, as much as suits you
• LOAD now recommends how many new words to learn and adapts live while you learn
• New words are introduced with audio and an example before you're tested
• Read it in a sentence: every session ends with a fresh sentence built from your new words
• Tap any kanji or kana to see its meaning and reading
• Gamify mode: a sakura world with a level map, achievements and a day & night look
• Clear right/wrong feedback, smoother animations and a fixed audio glitch
Your words, reviews and level carry over automatically.
