Track things that don’t expire: a new “Belongings” category for raincoats, helmets, tools… with no reminders, kept together at the end of your list. Type @ to note where something is (“Raincoat 3 pcs @garage”), view your list By Place, and search with “@shelf”. Rename or merge places in Settings → Places. Add a photo to any item so you know it at a glance. CSV export now includes Category, Value and Place. Family members sharing a list should update to 1.4 to see places, photos and Belongings.

Enter several batches of expiring points at once: dates are suggested month by month, and the total shows right away. Long lists scroll much more smoothly. A long list of expired items now folds up, so what’s about to expire stays in view. A new “Next 30 Days” group sits between “This Week” and “Later”. Also: category suggestions as soon as you type a name, faster suggestions, and a button to clear a name in one tap.

Use-By now keeps track of everything at home, not just food: • New categories: household, medicine, vouchers, loyalty points, SIM & mobile plans, documents, cards, insurance, vehicles • Filter your list by category with one tap • Record a voucher's value, a SIM balance or points about to expire; points from several periods add up to a total • In Vouchers, type “Gift card $50 12/20/2026” and the value is picked up • Start typing a name and the app suggests a category • Move items to another list, select several at once, merge lists • Fixed a layout glitch on an empty list Your data is kept. Family members sharing a list should update to see values and new categories.

A new look for Use-By: • Every item gets a little calendar tile, so you see the date and how urgent it is at a glance • Your list is grouped by the week: Expired, Today, This Week, Later • Quick add previews the name, quantity, date and where the item will go; “Open Full Form” fills it all in • Search from the round button at the bottom • Item details show your usage rate and whether you’ll finish in time; edits save on their own • Adding: suggestions from items you added before, quick dates (+1 week, +6 months…), “Save and Add Another” • A “NEW” badge on items a family member just added • “Recent” keeps items you used up in the last 7 days • Settings: every list and who shares it, iCloud status, a reminder timeline • A dark mode designed for the new look Your data and settings are kept.
