Move the Sticks

Chain Crew Sideline Game

Free · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.

The official marks the spot. You carry the chains. Clip it to the inch, win the measurement and hear the crowd. Move the Sticks puts you on the sideline with the chain crew: the people who carry the down box and the ten-yard chain at every American football game. It starts on a Friday night at a small-town high school. The official marks the spot, and you drag the box man down the sideline to the ball, weaving past pacing coaches, sprinting trainers and the water cooler. Let go on the yard line to clip the chain. Land within three inches for Inch Perfect. Close plays go to a measurement. Stretch the chain out to the ball, then press and hold to pull it taut. Let go at the right moment and the stake lands where it should. Get the call right and the crowd roars. Get it wrong and the replay booth overturns you. WHAT'S ON THE SCHEDULE • 24 games across three seasons: High School on Friday night, College on Saturday, Pro on Sunday • Rain puddles, snow, gusting wind, a two-minute drill that speeds everything up, and overtime when it's tied • Two-Minute Drill: 120 real seconds of hurry-up plays for a pure high score • Daily Drive: one twist a day, the same for every player, with a streak calendar • Streak multipliers, three penalty flags, stars and 24 trophies • Crew Room with your own badge photo, vests, ranks and four field palettes • A searchable Rulebook of real chain-crew terms and tips No account, no ads, no tracking.
