You are Nurarihyon, lord of the yokai. Survive in the deepest chamber until dawn.
■ Dig the labyrinth
Carve rooms and corridors freely, and move the gate farther away to lengthen the hunters' route. Confuse them with forks and dead ends — that's the mark of a true lord.
■ Yokai defend their rooms
Red Oni, Karakasa, Onibi, Kappa, Yuki-onna, Kyubi, Gashadokuro...
The yokai you house in each room brawl with any hunter who walks in. Fallen yokai revive at dawn.
■ Stack to evolve
Stack 3 of the same yokai to evolve it into a stronger form. Rooms such as the Shrine, Hot Spring, Graveyard and Treasury evolve when stacked too, and neighboring rooms boost each other.
■ Raise your lord
The more hunters fall, the higher your lord's rank, unlocking skills like Kanashibari, Onibi Rain and Night Parade Call. Use your lord's power to escape a tight spot.
■ Every night is different
At dawn, choose a reward, collect relics, and meet crossroads encounters and a wandering peddler. Every fifth night, the Exorcist Shogun appears. Survive Night 15, and beyond lies an endless Night Parade.
■ Grow stronger through the Summoning Rite
Spend the stones you bring back on the Summoning Rite. Pick 1 of 3 candidates to gradually gain new yokai, traps and rooms, heirlooms that grow stronger as you stack them, and handy features like faster game speed.
