■ Keep talking with the speaker on While a translation was being read aloud through the device's own speaker, the microphone could pick that voice back up — adding lines nobody said, or missing what you did say. From this version, the app's own reading no longer reaches the recognizer. Speak during the reading and it stops to listen to you instead. ■ You can now speak over the translation being read aloud While a translation was being read out, someone starting to speak was sometimes not picked up — what was said over the reading did not make it into the record. From this version, speaking during the reading stops it and listens to you instead. This never affected you if you use earphones. It only happened when the translation was coming out of the iPhone's own speaker.

■ Records can now line up over iCloud Records now line up across iPhones on the same Apple ID. Turn it on under "Where records are kept" in Settings. It is off by default. What a record holds may be the substance of a negotiation, so whether it goes to iCloud is yours to decide. Turn it on and your records — the earlier ones too — are kept in your own iCloud. Nothing is sent to the developer. Audio does not sync. It stays on the iPhone that recorded it. Also: short Chinese greetings are judged more accurately, a short introduction appears the first time, and playback and export have been fixed up.
