You can now search for a player by name from the clubs tab and open their profile straight away, without having to find them in a match report first. And a competition's matches now open on the round that is actually being played: a postponed match no longer leaves the tab stuck on an earlier round.

Tap any player's name to open their profile: how they are doing lately, match by match, with the goals in each one and whether their team won that day. You can get there from the match report, the preview, the club squad and the top scorers table. Match reports now list the full squad sheet: players who were there and did not score appear too, goalkeepers included, who used to show up nowhere. Plus warnings, with their card next to the name.

• Scores update by themselves while a match is on, no pull to refresh. • European matches too.

• European competitions: Champions League and European League, with fixtures, match reports and squads. • Copa del Rey and Copa de la Reina, now drawn. • Before every match: both squads and the live stream link. • The table now shows each team's last five results. • Which arena the match is played in, with a map. • A cleaner layout: matches grouped by day, full team names, and the score tells you at a glance who won.
