VigasAPP helps you define and analyse two-dimensional beams using the matrix stiffness method. Set the beam geometry and end conditions, then add intermediate supports or springs. Apply point forces, moments, distributed loads and polynomial loads while keeping the beam diagram in view. Open Results to calculate reactions and explore shear, bending moment, rotation and deflection diagrams. Query values at chosen positions, inspect piecewise equations and export a verification report. If you know E and I, the app provides calculated displacements as well as expressions in terms of EI. You can also work without entering EI where the model permits it. Save and reopen your beams, or share a model as a .vigasapp file. The interface adapts to iPhone and iPad. For study and independent checks. Always verify the input, assumptions, units and results before using them in a real engineering project.

You can now choose metric, SI or imperial units. Inputs, equations and results use the selected unit system. .vigasapp files store the units and format version to make sharing beam models more reliable. We have also improved translations and stability.
