iPhone
Your camera roll is full of photos your friends have never seen. The lake trip, the birthday dinner, that one perfect shot from three summers ago. uncover finds them, sorts them by person, and helps you send them in seconds. And it does all of it on your iPhone. Your photos never leave your device.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Scan your library on your iPhone
uncover looks through your photo library and finds the faces in it. The face recognition runs entirely on your device, with machine learning models built into the app. It even works in airplane mode.
2. See everyone in your photos
Every person gets their own page with all the photos they appear in. Name a face with one tap, pick a name from your contacts, merge duplicates, or hide anyone you would rather not see.
3. Send the photos they have never seen
Pick a few favorites and send them straight to Messages. No new app for them to install, no link to open. The photos land in the chat you already share, and you get to see their reaction.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Privacy is not a setting in uncover. It is how the app is built.
• Your photos never leave your iPhone. There is no cloud copy of your camera roll, because we never make one.
• Face recognition happens on your device. Faces are found and grouped locally, and that data stays on your phone.
• No account and no sign up. We never ask for your name, email address or phone number.
• Your contacts stay put. They are only used to suggest names and to address your messages.
• You are in control. Nothing is named or sent without your say so, and a photo only leaves your phone when you send it yourself.
• No ads and no tracking across apps.
