Stop retyping. Press Option-Command-V in any app, find a snippet in two keystrokes, and it lands right where you were typing. Now works with Claude and other AI apps.
HandyPaste keeps the text you type again and again — replies, addresses, sign-offs, code, AI prompts — and puts it into any app in two keystrokes.
PASTE ANYWHERE
• Press Option-Command-V in any app. A small search panel opens over your work, like Spotlight.
• Type a few letters, press Return, and the snippet lands at the cursor: in your email, browser, chat, notes or code editor.
• Keywords jump straight to a snippet. Favorites and recently used snippets come first, and Command-1 to Command-9 pick one without searching.
• The app you were typing in stays in front, so nothing loses focus.
SAVE IN ONE MOVE
• Select text in any app and press Option-Command-C to save it as a snippet. Give it a title and a folder without leaving that app.
• Or use Services ▸ New HandyPaste Snippet from Selection.
SNIPPETS THAT FILL THEMSELVES IN
• {{date}} and {{time}} in any format, even shifted: {{date+1w}} is a week from today.
• {{cursor}} leaves the caret exactly where you want to keep typing.
• {{clipboard}} drops in what you just copied, perfect for AI prompts.
• {{input:Name}} asks for a value before pasting.
With HandyPaste Pro: suggested answers, multi-line answers and choice lists, variables you set once such as {{var:Company}}, snippets inside snippets, and {{tab}} and {{enter}} to fill in whole forms in one go.
ORGANIZED YOUR WAY
• Folders as deep as you like, with drag and drop, favorites and keywords.
• A menu bar menu that mirrors your folders.
• Recently Deleted keeps what you delete for 30 days.
• Import your library from the HandyPaste Chrome extension, and export a backup at any time.
WORKS WITH CLAUDE AND OTHER AI APPS (PRO)
Turn it on in Settings, and Claude Desktop, Claude Code and other apps that support MCP can search your snippets, fill them in and save new ones. Snippets in a “Prompts” folder become prompts you can run. It’s off until you turn it on, and AI apps never see your clipboard.

It removes the limit and adds forms, variables, snippets inside snippets, Shortcuts actions and AI apps. Everything you already have keeps working either way.
Direct pasting needs one permission, in Privacy & Security ▸ Accessibility, so HandyPaste can press Command-V for you. Without it, snippets are copied and you paste them with Command-V yourself.
